How Far will you Run for a Life? by GCYC's own Sound of the Future

Students Create Music to Push Back Against Gun Violence

A South Side recording studio is joining the push to stop gun violence in the city, and they’re doing so by making music. That music is being performed and recorded by young people, known as “Sound of the Future,” and they’re using their lyrics and beats to effect positive change in their communities. NBC 5’s Sabrina Santucci reports.

Help us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000. Register now and invite your friends and colleagues to participate with you.

100% of proceeds raised will directly support Gary Comer Youth Center academic and enrichment programming
