Martin Luther King Day Community Celebration

We cordially invite you to join us for our annual MLK Day Brunch on January 15th from 11 AM to 2 PM. We look forward to celebrating our community and its leaders while remembering the life of a social justice icon who paved the way for many of us today. The day will be one of nurturing, networking, and, most importantly, recognizing the work our community partners have done to help ensure a better future for our youth.

During this special community celebration, you can look forward to a delicious meal prepared by Chef Jon & the GCYC culinary team. To start us off, we'll have a Keynote from local artist, Binkey. While enjoying your meal, we will have a special performance by singer/songwriter & community organizer Sam Thousand. We are also planning a youth-led panel discussion with our partners at Pigment International featuring renowned artists Paul Branton, Edo, and Founder of Pigment International, Patricia Andrews-Keenan. Lastly, we will have Duane Powell, also known as Sound Rotation, close us out for the day with a live DJ performance.
