Greater Grand Crossing Restorative Network

We are committed to working collaboratively with neighbors, local businesses and our partner agencies to provide opportunities and resources that uplift and empower our community.

The Greater Grand Crossing Restorative Network (GGCRN) provides direct services to youth and adults who reside in the Greater Grand Crossing Community. Through outreach, case management, and community engagement activities, our goal is to promote positive youth development, prevent conflict, and create safe spaces for our participants to thrive.

Crisis Intervention
GGCRN Street Outreach Workers play a vital role in promoting safety in Greater Grand Crossing by de-escalating emerging conflicts through restorative dialog and non-judgmental support. Our Street Outreach team consists of credible messengers, trained in crisis intervention, who are known and respected in the community and have a deep understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal violence. By identifying and developing relationships with those at the highest risk for either experiencing or perpetrating violence, our outreach team works to guide youth and young adults toward constructive activities and positive community engagement.

Case Management

Our case management team supports and advocates for youth and young adults, connecting them to services that meet their unique needs. GGCRN Case Managers can help clients access public benefits, financial assistance, temporary or affordable housing, employment programs, healthcare services and other resources that promote long-term stability. We believe effective case management is built on trust and relationships. Our client-centered, trauma-informed approach protects the agency, confidentiality and safety of all participants while providing them with tailored, non-judgemental support.

Victim Services

The GGCRN Victim Services team provides compassionate support to survivors and families affected by violence, assisting them in applying for and acquiring medical, legal and social services. Our Victims Services personnel work diligently to help individuals and their loved ones heal and rebuild, grounded in the understanding that the resources and services made available to those impacted by violence are critical to recovery, preventing reinjury, and interrupting cycles of harm.
