In collaboration with music & mentor organizations, Haven Studio & Guitars Over Guns, Director Andre “Add-2” Daniels and Programs Director Dominic “I.B” Pettis EL will host this exciting new creative youth showcase.
Why
The Open Mic scene has been pivotal for a lot of up and coming Chicago musicians, hosts, spoken word artists and so on. Treated as a place for community; for inter-generational conversation, multi genre showcasing, inclusive opportunity for all ages and re-imagining oneself, open mics provide a platform for creative release for trial and learning.
