Our tuition-free Transition Readiness and College Knowledge (T.R.A.C.K.) program for middle schoolers will provide your middle schooler (6th-7th) a comprehensive suite of social-emotional learning, mentoring, humanities, sports & leadership, and S.T.E.M programming to help them make a successful transition to high school and beyond.

    What is the T.R.A.C.K. program?

    The goal of this program is to develop a pipeline of youth applicants to high-performing secondary schools in Chicago's competitive landscape. We are a five-day-a-week year-round academic program for 6th and 7th graders.

    Tutoring

    Tutors are first and second-year education majors. Youth increase proficiency in Math and ELA via daily practice, small group instruction, and assessment.

    Academic Coaching

    Coaches help youth develop and maintain executive function skills that are critical to school and career habits.

    • Guitars Over Guns offers instrumental music instruction, studio production, sound engineering, and beatmaking.
    • Chicago Lions Rugby provides sports instruction and an introduction to the sport of rugby.
    • Green Star Movement brings visual arts from a local, longstanding arts non-profit organization.
    • Second City offers public speaking and confidence-building programs.
    • STEAM & Dream takes young people on a deep dive into technology and engineering.
    • Kenwood School of Dance teaches tumbling, modern dance, ballet, and hip hop.
