From garden beds and bench building to bottling honey and painting a mural, 100 volunteers came ready to help.
Organized by City Year's Civic Engagement volunteers, 100 volunteers from the White Sox came out to Gary Comer Youth Center to pitch in at our Urban Agriculture programs. Volunteers painted murals, weeded and planted garden beds, built garden boxes and benches, painted signage, and bottled honey to help prep for the growing season.
