GCYC Food Sovereignty Hub Receives Grant Announced by Mayor Brandon Johnson & Alderman Desmon Yancy


The Food Sovereignty Hub will bring a 4-season green house, FarmBox hydroponic farm, outdoor classroom and new farmer's market space to the 1.75 acre Comer Crops Youth Farm

A ground breaking ceremony will take place as part of the 2nd Annual Harvest Dinner, Thursday, September 25th. The Harvest Dinner is an event celebrating the accomplishments of the Urban Farmer and Culinary Arts Apprentices in GCYC's food systems programs.
